A Shrimp Scampi dish made for both you and your kids.

 

Ingredients: 

  • 2 lbs Peeled & Deveined, Tail-Off Gulf Shrimp
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 (16 oz) packages linguine Pasta

 

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil; cook linguine in boiling water until nearly tender, 6 to 8 minutes. Drain.
  2. In a skillet, melt your butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes or until pink.
  5. Pour in your chicken broth and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the shrimp are fully cooked (internal temperature of 120°F).
  7. Add your linguine to the skillet, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and toss all ingredients together.
  8. Plate and enjoy!
