Holiday Feasting: A Shopping Guide Made Simple
As the time for holiday feasting draws near you may be preparing your menu. A well-laden table with everyone’s favorites has become the traditional way to celebrate every holiday and when planning your holiday spread, it can be difficult at times to figure out how much food you need to buy and prepare. To help in the seafood space, we’ve made a handy ordering guide so you can order with confidence.
Alaskan King Crab Legs
First, may we say, what lucky guests to be included on your list! Each adult will typically eat two pounds of king crab legs. Guests with larger appetites may consume three pounds each. Also take the size range into account when calculating the king crab serving size - colossal king crab legs range from ¾ to 1 pound per leg, while super colossal king crab legs range from 1 to 2 pounds per leg.

Snow Crab Clusters
Hosting a crowd who enjoy a good ole’ seafood boil? Our snow crab clusters are the perfect addition to the pot and will bring sweet, succulent flavor and shells that are easy to crack. Snow Crab Clusters are sold in 4lb portions which will feed between 10 and 16 people, depending on how hungry your guests are, of course! And if you’re not hosting that many people - don’t worry! You can thaw what you need, and freeze what you don’t. Snow Crab (along with all of our products) will stay fresh in the freezer for up to four months.

Oishii White Shrimp
Sold in two-pound bags, our shrimp is juicy and amazing. We recommend ½ to 1 pound of shrimp per person, closer to 1 ¼ pound for guests with larger appetites. That’s if the shrimp is the main dish—if you’re using shrimp in a side dish, order as your recipe dictates.

Tuna, Salmon, Halibut – and more!
Hosting a group of fish lovers? We’ve got options. Salmon is always a crowd favorite, and as the chef, the prep is quick. On the other hand, you can never go wrong with buttery Black Cod or flakey, fish-and-chip-like Alaskan Cod! Or, if you’d like to switch it up from the norm, bring the sushi experience home with our Wild Yellowfin Tuna! Our fish is sold in portions, so we recommend one filet per person. Not many main dishes will please your guests as well as lobster. They’ll walk away from your table satiated and happy. Guidelines state each adult should consume around 10 ounces of lobster meat. Our tails are large, weighing between 12-14 ounces, so order one per person.
