Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional, for extra smoothness)

Instructions

  1. Mix the Base: In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream (or yogurt), and Dijon mustard. Stir until smooth and well mixed.

  2. Add the Flavors: Add the fresh dill, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil. Stir to combine, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3.  Chill and Serve: For best results, refrigerate the sauce for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. Serve chilled alongside grilled or baked salmon, shrimp, or any other seafood dish.

This dill sauce is a simple yet flavorful way to bring your seafood dishes to life, adding a zesty kick that perfectly complements the delicate taste of fish.
